The Newsletter
The newsletter may have an air of unpredictable mystique about it. I use the word 'news' very loosely. And also the word 'letter' - especially as it will be in an electronic format. It might be more accurate to call it 'an irregular email containing updates on miscellaneous literary matters that you wouldn't have missed at all if I hadn't sent it'.
Perhaps that's why people like to call them newsletters.
Anyway, abandon reason all ye who subscribe here.
